Manga Review: Nijiiro Days by Mizuno Minami

Hey guys! (≧∇≦)Today, I'm back for another review. This time, it's different from the last one since it's going to be sort of a book review but it's a manga. Manga is a japanese comic book.

I recently read Nijiiro Days by Mizuno Minami on Mangafox. In this review, I'll you guys about my opinion on it and if it is worth the time. Stay tuned! (^○^)

"From Chibi Manga:

There's Na-chan, who gets bullied, and then there's Mattsun who's popular. There's also Megumi-chan, a sadist and Tsuyobon, an anime otaku. The four's lives interweave during their school year, and that's the beginning of silly and thrilling stories of friendship and love.

One Christmas Eve, the heartbroken Na-chan met someone in a Santa uniform?!" - Manga Updates.

>Story

The manga genre is comedy, romance, school life, shoujo and slice of life.

The story is progressing at a good pace. Not too fast and not too slow either(I'm looking at you, Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge). Although the plot is not really that unique, I still find it enjoyable but hey, it's shoujo from a boy's perspective. One thing that I notice with slice of life manga, it is kind of boring but not this. Reading this was quite enjoyable and from time to time, I had a great laugh. There is romance there but I feel that the mangaka(author) didn't focus on it that much but rather the friendship the four boys have. I like it that way anyway.

The comedy is what made me stay with this manga plus the anticipation of everyone's love story.

>Characters

Some of the characters are what you'll typically see in a shoujo manga. For example, the popular one and the innocent looking guy. The characters are a bit diverse since they have a guy who likes S&M. I really liked that idea and it gives a little bit of variation to other mangas like this. The character progress is good too throughout the manga and they have yet to progress since it still ongoing.

>Art

The art is absolutely adorable! Especially the way the mangaka draws girls. It has a light atmosphere that gets along well with the manga's genre.

>Overall

I liked this manga and will continue to read the new releases. I might even check out the other manga from the mangaka. o(^▽^)o
Reading this gives me a light hearted feeling and made me happy for this day πŸ’œ

Recommend: 5/5
Story: 4/5
Characters: 4/5
Art: 4.5/5
Overall: 4.5/5

Try reading it guys! See you next time ☆〜(ゝ。∂)

REVIEW: Etude House Dear Darling Tint in Real Red

I'm back with another review. I am currently falling in love with this lip tint from etude house. Recently, I've been using this on a daily basis. Whenever I go to school, I slap this on. When I go outside for a casual stroll at the mall, I slap this on. You get the gist, I love this stuff d(>.<)b

>Packaging

The packaging is very simple and it has a clear bottle so you can see how much is left inside. The lid has a lavender silver-y color, if you get what I mean. The packaging is slick too and is very travel friendly. You can carry it with ease. It has the letters "Dear Darling Tint" on it written with a fancy font and the brand Etude House at the bottom.

On the bottom part of the packaging, that's where you'll see the manufacturing date which is not pretty clear in this photo and also the color which is 02. 02 stands for Real Red. I also haveto mention that it has a rubber stopper in it so you can control the amount of tint you're getting.

> Applicator

The applicator is nothing special but it is quite angled so you can put on the tint a little easier. It also picks up a good amount of product.

> Scent

I absolutely adore the smell on this one. It smells like strawberries, the sweet one. πŸ“πŸ“πŸ“ It's kind of an artificial smell but it disappears once you put it on your lips. I'm not that bothered by it but some people are really sensitive when it comes to fragrance.

> Lasting Power

Lasting power of this tint is so-so but it stains yours lips quite well. It stays on me for about 2-4 hrs if you don't eat or drink anything. I should warn you that it's not kiss-proof in short, it transfers. You should let it dry and stain your lips before you go arouns kissing someone.

> Price

The original price of the tint is I believe about P248 but since I got it on sale I only purchased it for P198. It's a pretty good deal and it does the job for a decent priced tint.

> Availability

Since this tint is one of Etude House's best-seller, you can find it in any Etude House store in the Philippines. I bought mine at SM DasmariΓ±as.

>Texture, Pigment, and Swatches

There you go, one swipe of tint. The tint is a bit watery but absolutely not runny. It goes on sheer but even if you put on load s on your lips, you're not going to have an opaque finish. The pigment is good for a tint, just what you expect. I believe this tint is made for the gradient lips and I use it mostly for that since it looks so natural.

Blended. It kind of looks like blood. Once it dries, you get a nice red color.

On my lips. I topped it off with my Candy Doll Strawberry Milk Lip Gloss.

Here's a selfie.

Cold weather. I didn't do my makeup today and just curled my lashes.

> Pros

- Cheap
- Good for everyday use
- Travel-friendly
- Available nationwide
- Has a strawberry scent(which I love)
- Great pigment for a tint

> Cons

- Doesn't last that long
- Transfers
- Sheer

Rating: ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I give it a four stars since the cons doesn't bother me that much and I like this for everyday use! I will repurchase this again once I emptied it and probably try some of the shades too! I recommend this for those who are looking for a cheap tint for everyday use. 😍😍

Thanks for reading! ❤️πŸ’•πŸ’„

Let me know if you want me to try out new products. ^.^)v

Going Gyaru!!! ☆〜(ゝ。∂)

I finally made up my mind to go Gyaru! *^*

WARNING: IMAGE HEAVY

I've thought of this for over a year, yes, over a freakin' year. Gyaru is japanese for the word "gal" and it's very feminine and girly. I'm thinking of going Gyaru-kei since I don't have the wallet for Himegyaru(Princess Gal) or Himekaji(Casual Princess).

Here are some pictures of the style I am about to aim.

Isn't it obvious that I absolutely love and adore Tsubasa Masuwaka! She's so pretty and awesome! Tsu-chan's also one of the reason I decided to go gyaru <3 *^*

Pretty Sakurina <3

Although most gyarus dye their hair, I don't plan to because of the strict rules of my school TT__TT

I have a soft spot for floral dresses ^_^ they make everyone cute and girly. <3

One of the brands I adore ^_^ Liz Lisa! Their brand is so cutesy and girly but It's not openly available in my country TT_TT Why~ and not to mention it's pricey too.

That's all, folks. Look forward for my next fashion blog ;)

[Review]: Careline Oil Control Blush On in Rosy Cheek

Hello, guys. Today I'm reviewing a product I bought recently. I don't have a blush so I decided to pick a cheap one since I'm just practicing on putting it on my face.

This is Careline Oil Control Blush On in Rosy Cheek. Careline has a wide range of shades with this particular product and I had a hard time choosing.

>Packaging

This is what the blush looks like. Careline has designed a very simple packaging which is a major letdown for me. Careline is a brand that is more towards teenagers. Why can't they make cuter packaging?! TT^TT

Anyway, this blush is very travel friendly because it's sooo thin.

This is the back of the packaging.
Again I would appreciate the product more if they made the packaging much cuter. T^T but the formula made it up for that one aspect.

A small puff was included but I threw it away right after it came to my mind that I am going to review the product. It's so small that i think it won't even fit perfectly on the packaging. So, I threw it away. Geez, why can't they provide a decent puff. -.-"

>Color and Texture

Let's take a closer look at the shade.

The formula has a bit of shimmers in it but don't worry! It won't make your face a glitter explosion. It just a tad bit of glitters. Did I mention that this blush is really pigmented! <3 So I don't have a problem with it being so thin because I don't really need a lot of the color to become visible on my cheeks.

The product is totally packed in the packaging. It's not as finely milled but it's not a problem.

The packaging also said that it was supposed to control oil, It did a great job on controlling the oil on my cheeks!

> Staying Power

I sooooo love the staying power of this blush, at the end of the day, it still shows up nicely on my cheek with a little fading. The fading makes it so beautiful though because it looks like a very natural flush. Even for Philippines' hot and humid weather, this blush doesn't melt on my cheek and wash off with my sweat. It stays on for almost the whole day! I'm not even kidding! ^_^

> Swatches

This is a picture of me with the blush on. I sweeped it with a light hand because, as i said, the blush is very pigmented and you need to be able to control how much your brush is picking up. The blush gives a nice color to my cheek without looking too tacky.

I also took the picture after I went home. You can see that it still gives a nice pigment. I didn't put on foundation, only concealer, powder and lip tint. ❤️

> Pros

- cheap
- available nationwide
- good pigmentation
- lasts long
- oil control up to 6 hours(I have normal-dry skin)

> Cons

- Cheap packaging
- Can be hard to control how much your brush picks up

Rate: ❤️❤️❤️❤️/5

I really liked it and I'll repurchase some of the different shades. πŸ˜πŸ‘Œ Wished Careline can improve their packaging though.

[REVIEW]: Skinfood Honey Glossy Rouge in Sugar Jelly or #362

I did tell you guys that I like lipsticks, or any lip products. Honey Glossy Rouge is not one, I didn't like it. Anyway, Let's get to the review.

I've purchased this a looooong time ago on a sale. I guess it's PHP800+ It's pretty  pricey for a not-so worth it lipstick. Goodbye 800 pesos~ TT^TT

I can't read Hangul so I don't know what this means but by researching the internet, I've learned that the name of the shade is Sugar Jelly.

The shade is a pretty pink color but it's full of glitters! Skinfood overloaded this with glitters which I don't like! I don't like lipsticks that are full of those! Ugh! >.<"
This is the color. I already said that this lipstick is full of glitters but I like the color. If Skinfood can make this lipstick without the glitters, that'd be great. The first one is only swiped once while the second one is twice.

Anyway, The lipstick claims that it's moisturizing but It's not. So, make sure that if you're wearing this, you are wearing lip balm under it or it will make your lips look unattractive.

Lasting Power: 3/5
The lipstick lasts for about 2 hours without drinking or eating but It slips right off if you drink anything.

Moisturizing Power: 1/5
It just makes your chapped lips with a glossy shine. Makes your lips 101% unattractive if it's dry and chapped. I mean it, DO NOT WEAR THIS IF YOUR LIPS ARE DRY, GIRLS.

Price: 1/5
For a highschool student like me, buying an 800 peso lipstick is just luxury. So I was disappointed by the product I got. I also learned that Skinfood's products are way way expensive here in the Philippines than in Korea. πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž So not cool, guys.

Availability: 3/5
You can get this from local Skinfood stores but as far as i know, they have 10+ branches in the Philippines but luckily, there's internet and there's a bunch of online stores that you can buy this from. Skinfood has a store in SM Mall of Asia.

Will I Repurchase?
Definitely no, just no. But I might try the Vita Tok Lipstick ;)

Rate: 2/5
You know why, guys ans girls.

This is the end of the review. Thanks a lot!

Disclaimer: I purchased the products stated with my own money for my own personal use.
